Q Lazzarus, “Goodbye Horses” (1987)

The music video for “Goodbye Horses” relies heavily on occult themes and dreamlike imagery to match the esoteric nature of the songs’ lyrics. In 2017, the video was finally released to the public via YouTube to accompany the re-release of Lazzarus’ music on Spotify.

In 2018, the true identity of Q Lazzarus was revealed to be a Staten Island woman named Diane Luckey, a bus driver who has long-since retired from the music industry. While she appreciates new-found interest in her former music career, she prefers to keep a low-profile and live a life without much attention.
